The Possibility Coaches - Your Mental Fitness Trainers!

There are numerous ways to create a fit, healthy body, however, mental fitness must also include your mind.  There are ‘proven’ workout techniques and sound nutritional programs.  But what about our mind?  How do we get it to be healthy and fit?

As humans, we go through a wide range of thoughts and emotions daily.  Some make us feel good; others, not so good.  This seems to be especially true during the vacation and holiday seasons.

You may have good thoughts and emotions regarding this time of year or you may dread it.  You may feel overwhelmed and stressed about plans, itineraries, bathing suits, parties, choosing and giving gifts and the expenses that go along with all the celebrating. Staying at the peak of mental fitness will give you balance regardless of events, circumstances or environment.

All of these thoughts and emotions, whether positive or negative, have a direct impact on your physical well-being.  You may have the body of a Greek god, but if you’re stressed, anxious, depressed, worried, etc., then you’re not really ‘fit.’

Before you set your ‘perfect’ body goals, understand this:  you will want to include a program that includes mental fitness as well.

It has been scientifically formulated that, on average, we have 60,000 thoughts a day.  Most of the thoughts that we have today are the same thoughts we had yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that.  Get the picture?  There are no new stressful thoughts, just ones that we recycle over and over again. A strong mind that has been prepared, through mental fitness, is more suited to deal with this level of activity.

Your life, and how you are currently living it, begins and ends in your mind.  How your mind operates determines how happy you are, how successful you feel, and how you interact in all areas of your life.  Learning how to focus and direct your thoughts is the most critical ingredient required to have a fit mind AND a fit body.

Your thoughts have a direct influence on every cell in your body.  When your mind is trapped in a negative thought pattern it affects your ability to fully function both mentally and physically.

Quite miraculously, when we change our thoughts, we change our life.  There are many scientifically proven mental fitness techniques that can assist you to embrace a new level of mind.  These techniques go directly to your non-conscious mind – that part of the brain that stores most of our thoughts, beliefs and emotions.  These techniques are safe and very transformational.

In our workshops, classes and coaching sessions, Jon and I utilize many reconditioning mind techniques (RMT’s), the building blocks of real mental fitness.  They are simple to use, require little time and virtually no effort.  The only requirement is that you use them on a consistent, daily basis.  In just three months you can create a new way of thinking.  This is the path to becoming a  truly ‘fit’ person.  One very simple technique is to question every thought and belief you have.  Just because you have a thought, doesn’t mean it’s true!  When you have a negative, judgmental or critical thought about yourself, ask yourself: is this really true, is this really true 100% of the time and in 100% of all situations?  Your answer has to obviously be a ‘no’.  Now, you are creating awareness! Once you start to unravel these beliefs one knot at a time, there is no going back.  This is growth.

Ask yourself:  what would it feel like to think, feel and act happy today, throughout this year and beyond? Can you picture it? Can you feel it? If you answered ‘yes’ then you can transform your mind into a fit mind.

It can be said that our profession as Life and Relationship Coaches is like being aerobic instructors for the mind.  We can do the exercises with you, but not for you.  Are you up for the ‘fit mind challenge?’

Entrepreneurs: 10 Questions to Ask Yourself To Create a Successful Business

As Life, Relationship and Business Coaches, we  have given guidance to many business owners and entrepreneurs over the last decade.

Are you an entrepreneur? Do you aspire to be one? Do you own a business? Do you lead a team in Direct Sales or Network Marketing? Are you a sole-preneur and own a home-based business? By answering ‘yes’ to at least one of these questions, you definitely want to read on!

Based on our interaction and experiences with these individuals, we formulated what we believe to be the 10 most important questions any entrepreneur wants to ask him or herself on a regular basis to create the results he or she desires.

So, here they are! They are in no particular order. They are all  important and relevant questions to ask yourself if you are seeking positive change and improved results.

Question 1: Where am I going with my life today? The answer to this question will give you a good indication of the direction your business is going.

Question 2: Do I treat my business like a business?  Most people who say they own a business treat it more like a hobby. Treat your business with the respect it deserves.  Your business is a reflection of how you treat yourself and ultimately how others see and treat you.

Question 3: How do I define success as an entrepreneur? Success is a process, not a payoff. The price to pay for success is time, money, energy and mental and physical action. As Life Coaches, Relationship Coaches and Business Coaches, we have witnessed entrepreneurs operating from fear: fear of failure, success, commitment or rejection. Success requires faith and focus on the end result.

Question 4: What are the telepathic messages I am putting out there? Many entrepreneurs send mixed messages: e.g. ‘I am open for business but I don’t feel worthy so don’t give me the money,’ or e.g. ‘I am open for business but don’t call me because I don’t want to feel overwhelmed.’

Question 5: Do I have ‘broke’ thoughts and beliefs? If you do, your subconscious mind will assist you to create events that reinforce those thoughts and beliefs. This is the basis for how the Law of Attraction operates in our lives. When your talents can bring you money and you feel undeserving, you will sabotage your success.

Question 6: Do I set goals or do I set goals and achieve results? Achieving the results you want is far more important than being a goal-setter. To achieve results requires you willingness to change. If you have a poor self-image you cannot outperform it unless you are willing to change it.

Question 7: Do I have clear intentions? As Business Coaches, we ask entrepreneurs if they have a clear vision for their business, and most important, do they put service first above everything else, including the money.

Question 8: What is my relationship with money? As Life, Relationship and Business Coaches we often discuss the clients’ relationship with money. If you live in fear, lack and worry you are blocking financial success. As entrepreneurs, we are paid for the value we provide. Be willing to constantly expand, grow, unfold and re-invent yourself as the CEO of your life and business. This doesn’t mean ‘better’ than you were yesterday; it means being and giving more of who you are to the world.

Question 9: Do I have gratitude for who I am and do I accept where I am right here and now? Gratitude and acceptance of what you have and what is in this moment are the two greatest catalysts for positive change. Understand that prosperity isn’t about the money. It is an experience, a way of feeling, thinking and being.

Question 10: Am I willing to adopt a new Permission Structure? As Life, Relationship and Business Coaches, we witness time and time again, clients who refuse to give themselves permission to succeed. Reinvent yourself by changing your permission structure. Give yourself permission to be successful, to be powerful, to thrive and to flourish! Your greatest power you can exert is choice!

Take time going over these questions. Be willing to answer them with honesty! Know where you are today, so you can create positive changes for you, your life and your successful business tomorrow!
